{"id":122425,"date":"2026-07-06T14:39:53","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T14:39:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/job\/head-of-compliance\/"},"modified":"2026-07-06T14:39:56","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T14:39:56","slug":"head-of-compliance-122425","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/srgroup.highrise.digital\/de\/job\/head-of-compliance-122425\/","title":{"rendered":"Head of Compliance"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Head of Compliance &#8211; Law Firm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to join its Risk &amp; Compliance function in London.<\/p>\n<p>This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Compliance, helping shape and enhance the firm&#8217;s governance, risk and compliance framework while leading a high-performing compliance team.<\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>As Head of Compliance, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, mentor and develop a talented compliance team.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee client and matter onboarding processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a key escalation point for AML, CDD and source of funds queries.<\/li>\n<li>Drive strategic compliance and onboarding improvement projects.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives across the firm.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare management information and compliance reporting to support governance and decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and external parties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p>You will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant experience in risk and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing a team. <\/li>\n<li>Strong AML, CDD and regulatory compliance knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Experience gained within a law firm environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>A commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to thrive in an evolving environment.<\/li>\n<li>A degree-level education; legal or compliance qualifications are advantageous but not essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Interested?
