This attorney will serve as a trusted advisor on a broad range of employment matters across the United States and select international jurisdictions, partnering closely with HR, compliance, and business leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys balancing day-to-day counseling with strategic projects, investigations, policy development, and cross-border employment issues.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and analyze employment law developments and provide practical guidance regarding their impact on company operations.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with business leaders, HR, and compliance professionals to address workforce-related legal and employee relations issues.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with strategic initiatives, reorganizations, integrations, and other cross-functional projects affecting the workforce.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with external counsel on employment disputes, regulatory matters, and litigation strategy when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Create and deliver training programs on employment law compliance and workplace best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, revise, and negotiate employment-related agreements, policies, and internal governance documents.<\/li>\n<li>Help improve internal legal processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency across employment-related workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Support and conduct workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy concerns, and other sensitive matters.<\/li>\n<li>Provide day-to-day advice on leave laws, accommodations, wage and hour compliance, disciplinary actions, and other employment matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.<\/li>\n<li>Strong business judgment and the ability to provide practical, solution-oriented advice to stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of employment law experience, including law firm and\/or in-house experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience advising on U.S. employment law matters and partnering directly with HR and operational leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting and analytical abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting employment matters outside the U.S. is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nice to have<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with employment issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, corporate integrations, or restructuring efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting businesses in technology, healthcare, information services, data analytics, or similarly complex industries.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of workplace privacy, data protection, or other compliance-related employment issues.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with legal budgets and overseeing outside counsel relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to international employment law
