{"id":122962,"date":"2026-07-14T16:23:50","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T16:23:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/job\/compliance-officer\/"},"modified":"2026-07-14T16:23:51","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T16:23:51","slug":"compliance-officer-122962","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/srgroup.highrise.digital\/nl\/job\/compliance-officer-122962\/","title":{"rendered":"Compliance Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Compliance Officer &#8211; Law Firm<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Officer to support a Law Firm with the ongoing development and maintenance of risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance processes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with compliance experience within a law firm who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and collaborative team.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory obligations are met, supporting risk management initiatives, and providing practical compliance guidance across the business.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Respond to compliance queries relating to AML, client onboarding, source of funds checks, GDPR, and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Act as an escalation point for junior team members.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, and maintain risk and compliance policies, procedures, and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Support regulatory audits, accreditations, and compliance monitoring activities.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct AML, Source of Funds, and Source of Wealth audits and identify key trends.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out electronic AML and conflict checks where required.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver compliance and risk training to new starters and support wider training initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with professional indemnity claims, incident reporting, and complaints handling.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance registers and prepare management reports.<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with legal and regulatory developments and undertake compliance research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience within a Risk &amp; Compliance role within a Law Firm.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of AML regulations, risk management, and compliance frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with case management and database systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s on Offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to join a well-established legal business.<\/li>\n<li>Broad exposure across risk, compliance, AML, GDPR, and professional indemnity matters.<\/li>\n<li>Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development.<\/li>\n<li>A varied role with genuine scope for progression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply now or send your CV through to Zali Oulton at zalioulton@taylorroot.com<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
