Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement Lawyer or Commercial Lawyer with strong procurement expertise to support a busy legal and procurement function during a period of increased workload.<\/span><\/p>\n

About the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This role would suit a pragmatic lawyer who enjoys working closely with procurement teams and business stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n

The successful candidate will support a broad range of procurement and commercial matters, providing practical advice in a fast paced environment. The organisation operates within a regulated procurement framework whilst supporting significant commercial activity, creating a varied and business facing role.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Advise on procurement law and Procurement Act 2023 compliance<\/span><\/p>\n

* Support procurement exercises, tender processes and contract awards<\/span><\/p>\n

* Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements<\/span><\/p>\n

* Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders<\/span><\/p>\n

* Support procurement governance, risk management and best practice<\/span><\/p>\n

* Work closely with procurement teams and operational stakeholders<\/span><\/p>\n

* Assist with contract renewals and strategic commercial projects<\/span><\/p>\n

Required Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Qualified in E&Ws<\/span><\/p>\n

* Around 5 to 8 years’ PQE<\/span><\/p>\n

* Strong procurement law experience gained in private practice or in-house<\/span><\/p>\n

* Experience advising on procurement matters under Procurement Act 2023<\/span><\/p>\n

* Able to work independently and build effective stakeholder relationships<\/span><\/p>\n

* Practical and solutions focused approach<\/span><\/p>\n

* Open to Procurement Lawyers and Commercial Lawyers with significant procurement exposure<\/span><\/p>\n

* Experience working within organisations that combine public procurement obligations with a commercial operating model would be highly beneficial<\/span><\/p>\n

Working Arrangements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

*<\/span> <\/span>ASAP start<\/span><\/p>\n

*<\/span> <\/span>Initial contract expected to run for a minimum of four months and likely longer<\/span><\/p>\n

*<\/span> <\/span>Full time preferred, although candidates looking for four days and flexi hours will also be considered<\/span><\/p>\n

*<\/span> <\/span>Hybrid working, with two days per week onsite in Central London<\/span><\/p>\n

Daily Rate:<\/strong><\/p>\n

*<\/span> <\/span>Inside IR35<\/span><\/p>\n
