This is a senior advisory role offering the opportunity to work on complex conflicts and confidentiality matters across a global legal practice, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.<\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>You will play a key role in assessing whether new client and matter instructions can be accepted, providing legal and regulatory analysis on conflicts and confidentiality issues while balancing commercial, reputational and regulatory considerations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advising on complex conflicts and confidentiality matters.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with partners and fee earners to understand client relationships and associated risks.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating practical and commercially focused resolutions to conflicts issues.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying broader regulatory, risk and reputational considerations during client onboarding.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to the development and enhancement of conflicts and compliance policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising and mentoring members of the conflicts function.<\/li>\n<li>Acting as an escalation point for complex conflicts searches and enquiries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p>To be successful in this role, you will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant experience advising on legal conflicts within a law firm environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory framework governing conflicts and confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills combined with strong commercial judgement.<\/li>\n<li>The confidence and credibility to engage with senior lawyers and business stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>A practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Experience handling highly confidential information with discretion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exposure to international conflicts matters or knowledge of conflicts rules in jurisdictions outside the UK would be advantageous.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
