Payroll Administrator – Global Financial Services Firm | Hong Kong<\/strong><\/p>\n

A leading international financial services firm is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Payroll Administrator to take ownership of its Hong Kong payroll operations. This is a high-visibility role, working closely with HR, Finance, and senior leadership across the region, offering both autonomy and impact within a fast-paced, professional environment.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

What would you be doing: <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Take full responsibility for end-to-end payroll operations for the Hong Kong office <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Execute accurate and timely payroll cycles, including salary adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and final payments<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Oversee statutory obligations such as MPF contributions, tax filings, and year-end reporting requirements, ensuring adherence to Hong Kong employment legislation and regulatory requirements<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Partner with HR and Finance teams to gather and validate payroll data, ensuring integrity and compliance<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Act as the primary contact for payroll-related queries, providing clear guidance to internal stakeholders including senior management<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Coordinate with regional and global payroll teams to ensure alignment and consistency<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Prepare regular payroll-related reporting, including financial postings, headcount analysis, and reconciliation reports<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Liaise with relevant government authorities for submissions and regulatory matters<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance payroll efficiency through system or workflow improvements<\/span><\/p>\n

What you would have:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Minimum 2-6 years of payroll experience, ideally within financial or professional services firm<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Degree holder in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Solid knowledge of Hong Kong payroll practices, tax requirements, and statutory frameworks<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Familiarity with payroll systems such as Oracle HCM, BIPO, or similar platforms<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>High level of accuracy, strong analytical mindset, and ability to meet tight deadlines<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Self-sufficient and comfortable managing responsibilities with minimal supervision<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, including fluent Cantonese<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
