This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys balancing sophisticated transaction work with day-to-day legal leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<h4>Real Estate Transactions &amp; Development<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead legal support for land acquisition, disposition, and development transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Structure, draft, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, easements, joint ventures, partnership agreements, and development contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Manage legal due diligence, including title, zoning, land use, entitlement, and environmental matters.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with business leaders to assess transaction risk and optimize deal structures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Contract Management &amp; Legal Operations<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft, review, and negotiate construction, vendor, professional services, brokerage, and development agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop contract standards, templates, and approval processes to improve efficiency and consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance on customer agreements, warranties, and disclosure requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Executive &amp; Strategic Legal Counsel<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on legal, regulatory, and business matters.<\/li>\n<li>Support strategic growth initiatives, market expansion efforts, and joint venture opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide practical legal guidance that balances business objectives with risk management considerations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Litigation, Risk &amp; Compliance<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage litigation, claims, disputes, and oversight of outside counsel.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on risk mitigation strategies involving contracts, construction matters, insurance requirements, and property-related disputes.<\/li>\n<li>Support compliance initiatives across multiple business functions and operating entities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Cross-Functional Leadership<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Construction, Sales, and Human Resources teams.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver legal training and guidance to business stakeholders across the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a trusted internal resource known for practical and solutions-oriented counsel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.<\/li>\n<li>Active bar membership;
