An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior disputes lawyer to join a leading international organisation in a high-impact leadership role.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based in Abu Dhabi, this position will play a critical role in leading complex disputes and arbitration matters across a large, global business, while shaping dispute strategy and driving team performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

What you’ll be doing:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Lead the disputes and alternative dispute resolution function, providing strategic oversight across UAE and international matters.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Advise on high-value, complex disputes, including international arbitration and cross-border litigation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing commercially focused legal guidance.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of legal professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Who you’ll likely need to be in order to succeed:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will ideally bring the following experience and attributes:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>15+ years’ experience in dispute resolution, gained within leading international law firms and\/or in-house environments, with significant leadership exposure.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Experience in energy, oil and gas, or similarly complex, regulated industries is strongly preferred. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Proven ability to lead teams, manage large-scale disputes, and engage with senior stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Commercially minded, strategic, and capable of operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
