Some of the key points, themes and takeaways include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Listening is just as important as speaking up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating a &#8216;speak up&#8217; cultural is an organization is crucial for belonging, well-being, loyalty, innovation and managing risk Companies with a strong speak up culture are 50% less likely to experience misconduct<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main reasons why women find it difficult to speak up is down to the stereotypes in our culture as well as the fact that speaking up is a vulnerable position to be in and many feel that speaking up puts them in a risky position<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge is power. Try to record your experiences as much possible and keep detailed notes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t suffer alone \u2013 ask for help and talk to others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone has their own personal style and you don\u2019t have to adapt in order to please others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational initiatives are so important to help understand biases and the challenges faced by women&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8216;Top tips&#8217; from the panel on finding your voice were:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Courage is contagious<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes&#8217; (Ruth Bader Ginsburg)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue to practice self-affirmation &amp; expressing your voice &#8211; remind yourself of your worth &amp; strengths.
